2011: Galschiot denounces Ai Weiwei´s arrest
On 3rd April 2011 China´s most prominent artist, Ai Weiwei was arrested as he was boarding for a flight to Hong Kong.
Many of the world´s intellectuals and artists have energetically protested against the detention. Click here to sign the petition of Change.org.

On 22 June Ai Weiwei Released on Bail. More than 140,000 had signed the petition.
