It is with great joy that we can now invite to the revelation of Jens Galschiot's sculpture Octopus Dress by designer Erik Mortensen

Thursday 7^th October 1999 2 am

The sculpture is placed at Brummers Plads in Odense at the entrance at number 24 of the School of Clothing and Design. The revelation is conducted by first designer Joergen Simonsen from Versace in Milano.

Presentation:

• A welcome by the school's Chairman of Board Merete Aarup
• Revelation of the sculpture by designer Joergen Simonsen
• Speech by the sculptor Jens Galschiot
• Speech by the mayor of Odense, Anker Boye
• After the revelation at the school there will be a small reception in the cafeteria.

Joergen Simonsen is the first designer in charge at the house Versace in Milano. After his education at Esmod in Paris he has had a fantastic career in fashion business with reference from John Galliano, Lady Amanda Harlech, Evanglina Blahnik, Karl Lagerfeld, Alexander Mcqueen, Katy England and Donatella Versace.

Joergen Simonsen grew up in Struer. During the years at the grammar school of the town he made a study trip to Paris where he had the opportunity to get some advice from Erik Mortensen.
