Kasarani Stadium

The venue of the WSF2007 was the Kasarani Stadium with capacity for the 66,000 registered participants.

One sculpture was exhibited on a site near the main entrance, the other one was placed on a wheelbarrow to be circulated around the venue.

The sculptures were favourably received. Many women saw the teenager as a symbol of their suffering and struggle. We explained our objectives and discussed with the crowded passers-by about the fundamentalists´ clout on the world´s sexual policy.
